I'm no stranger to deviantART, but this time I'll be much more involved.

As an Apple enthusiast, great art and design is a major turn-on. How I used Windows for the first 4 years of my computer-user life, I'll never know - but I've seen the light, and as a proud owner of a 15" (1440x900 - glossy) mid-2009 Aluminium-Unibody MacBook Pro, packing an Intel 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo with 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM and the dual nVidia 9400M/9600M GT chipset running Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.7 at the time of writing), I'm greeted all the time by the lick-able user interface Apple's created. Unknowingly, however, they dropped a bomb of ugliness into the Mac platform with the Mac App Store.

On any given page, look at those downright horrible application icons. Some are boring, some too busy, others just a boring square - it's those types, the iOS-style icons, I aim to correct. At this time of writing, I've made two alternate icons, for iRingtones and PhotoSync.

This is just the dip of my toes into the design world. I love it all, and seeing some of these compositions here on deviantART... I get extremely jealous. Well, let's see where this goes! Wish me luck.
